Daily prayer for June 17 for peace

Daily prayer for June 17 for peace: The word became flesh and dwelt among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the only Son who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John testified about him and cried out, “This is he of whom I said, he who comes after me is better than I, because he was before me.”) From his overflowing grace, we are all grace. On the grace we have received.

Prayer:

Great God, help us who have been allowed to hear your words. Help us to come with all our hearts to the Savior, who leads us into your arms. Hear our plea and let your face shine on the world. Soon, send a new era, a new salvation to the earth, to the glory of your name. Show us that what we have learned about you is the truth and let us live in the truth and find our way to heaven, to the glory of your name. Great God, hear us. It often seems that you are very far away. But we know that our voice still reaches you and those who are awakened by your Holy Spirit will become your workers for the Lord Jesus. O great God, send your spirit soon. Send the Comforter, who guides us to all light and all truth. We entrust ourselves and our daily life to you. We want to be loyal. Help us to be your children, remembering at every step that we belong to you, great God. No matter how dark it is on earth, help us to remember that we are with you, your children in eternity. Amen

Interpretation of daily prayer:

These verses form an important part of the Gospel of John, and in them, John testifies to the incarnation of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. John emphasizes that Jesus was not only a man, but the manifestation of God in the world. He was “full of grace and truth” and brought God’s grace and mercy to humanity.

John also mentions John the Baptist’s testimony about Jesus. John identified Jesus as “the one who comes after me,” but “is superior to me, because he was before me.” This means that Jesus, despite being born after John the Baptist, had a higher status because he was with God from eternity.

Finally, John mentions the grace that has come to humanity through Jesus Christ. This grace is a free and unconditional gift from God that saves us and gives us eternal life.
