Also, brothers, you learned from us how you should live to please God, and of course you follow it. Now, in the name of Jesus, I am begging you to live more according to it. Because you know what orders I gave you according to the decree of Lord Jesus. God’s will is that you be pure and avoid illicit sexual relations. All of you should know how to always keep your body under control and keep it clean and respectable and do not succumb to carnal desires and lusts like the people who do not know God.
In this regard, no one should abuse the believers. Because as I told you before with great emphasis: God will punish those who do these things. God has called us to a pure life. No to moral corruption! Therefore, whoever does not accept this teaching, does not reject man, but has rejected God who gives you His Holy Spirit.
A life that pleases God.
And as for loving each other, there is no need to write anything about it. Because you yourselves have been taught by God how to love one another and there is no doubt that you treat all believers in the same way throughout Macedonia. But brothers, I request you to increase your love day by day. May your wish be to live a peaceful life and be busy with your work, and as we have instructed you before, to work for your livelihood so that your life has a good effect on the non-believers and you do not need others to provide for yourself.
