Ali Vahidi: Highway of purity
Ali Vahidi: Highway of purity
If we want to live a victorious Christian life, we must know that Christianity is very simple, but we have made it very complicated. About the Christian faith, voluminous books have been written one after another, and all kinds of technical terms have been used, and different scholars claim that it is the key to understanding Christianity for them. In the opinion of most of us, Christianity has become so complicated and complicated that even though we theoretically know the principles and content of Christianity, we cannot relate our knowledge to our daily and ordinary life. In order to clarify the facts that we have mentioned so far, we want to use examples in this chapter that create images in our minds.
Ali Vahidi: Highway of purity
In our opinion, one of the most comprehensive images about the victorious life is the highway that Isaiah chapter 35 describes as follows: “There will be a highway there called the way of holiness.” “A highway has been built that is surrounded by the mud of the world. The whole path is narrow and upward, and anyone can walk on it, because “whoever follows that path, even if he is ignorant, will not go astray.” Although there are many dangers if we deviate from the road, but if we do not go off the road, we are safe because “there will be no lion in it and no predatory animal will attack it”. The only people who cannot enter this highway are the impure: “The impure will not pass through it.” Impure people are not only sinners who do not accept Christ, but in this group, there are also Christians who have unconfessed sins and have not been cleansed. (Ali Vahidi)
It is only by climbing a small, dark and scary hill that we can reach the highway, and this hill is called Golgotha. This is a hill that a person has to climb on all fours and especially on his knees. If we are satisfied with our current Christian life and if we do not have a strong desire to enter the highway, it is clear that we will not come to our knees and we will not be able to climb the hill. But if we are unhappy with our situation and feel hungry, we will start climbing. You should not rush, let God make you thirsty so that you are ready to walk on the highway. Let God really bring you to your knees to pray with passion. Those who are only spectators will not get anywhere, because we read: “You will seek me and if you search for me with all your heart, you will find me”.
