June 18th daily prayer for loneliness: “In my Father’s house are many places, or did I tell you that I go to prepare a place for you?” And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and take you to myself, that as I am, you may be also.” (John 14:2-3)
Prayer text:
Great God, thank you for supporting us and bringing us to the Savior. Help us to remember this truth by the help of your Holy Spirit, and while we are still on earth, remind us constantly to live with all your angels in heaven. We are powerless without you. Only Your Spirit can overcome our sinful nature so that we will never forget that we are with the Savior in Heaven now and in eternity. Amen

In these verses, Jesus assures his disciples that they will not be alone after his departure. He tells them that he is going to his father’s house to prepare a place for them. He also promises to return and take them with him to that place.
