You are now a child of God because this is the promise of the word of God that all those who believe in the name of Christ will become children of God.
(John 1:12, 1 John 1:3).
Now you are a new creature with a new life. If someone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away, and now all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
You have also been freed from the captivity of sin, the forces of evil, fear and guilt, and you have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of God’s glory. (Galatians 4:1, Colossians 1:13).
Now that you are a child of God, it is very important for your heavenly father to raise you correctly in the divine family, and he uses different ways and means to make you like his son.
Although you are now a child of God, there is a long way to reach the perfection that we see in Christ.

The word of God calls us to behave in a manner worthy of the calling to which we have been called (Ephesians 2:4).
