Who is Jesus Christ? The first part
Who is Jesus Christ?
More than two billion people claim to follow Jesus Christ. This means one third of the world’s population.
He has been mentioned more than any other character in art and literature. Time magazine named him the most influential person who ever lived.
You cannot prove Christianity with mathematics. You cannot prove Christianity with the help of science.
Science is definitely very important. But science answers different and specific questions. For example, how and when was this world created?
But it cannot answer the question of who created it and why?
Imagine that I have a cake that I made myself and I give it to a scientist.
A scientist can answer the question of how it was made and maybe he can say when it was made.
But only I can say who made it and why I did it. Only the creator of this cake can say this.
The same is the case with the world, only the creator can reveal who created this world and why.
The claim of Christianity is that God revealed himself in the form of Jesus. The evidence of this issue is not scientific evidence.
Scientific evidence is not the only type of evidence, there is also historical evidence.
Believing in Jesus is a step of faith based on reliable historical evidence. God’s existence can be found through Jesus.
Because the resurrection of Jesus clearly shows that this world has a creator and that creator is seen through Jesus and through the eyes of Jesus.
