Ali Vahidi : The New Testament clearly shows that Jesus expects us to humble ourselves and appear in the role of a servant. Service is not an optional subject that we can deal with if we wish, but it is at the center of a new relationship that a disciple of Christ must establish with God and his fellow men. For this purpose, they only had the right to go to other nations.

The strange thing is that in the Greek language of the New Testament, the word used for the disciple of Jesus Christ is “not a paid servant.” Rather, he is an “unpaid and obligated servant” and in this way he wants to show us that the disciple of Christ must be a servant. which has no rights and no authority to complain and because we completely belong to our master. Christ should be able to use us wherever and however he wants. We can better understand what it is to be a servant when we note that we are the silent and obligated servant of someone who is willing to be such a servant. We are the servant of someone who was so humble that even though he was “in the form of God”, he did not benefit from equality with God for his own benefit. Rather, he emptied himself and took the form of a slave and came in the likeness of men” (Philippians 6:2-7).
He renounced all his rights and was ready to accept whatever God wanted and endure whatever the malice of the people demanded, so that he could help the people and bring them back to God. You and I must be the slave of someone who has always been and is a obedient slave. One of his greatest qualities is his constant and complete humility, and one of his most important actions is that he constantly humbles himself to serve his creation. The above truth makes us aware of another issue, and that is, if we are the servants of Jesus, we will definitely be the servants of others. Apostle Paul says: “For we do not preach ourselves, but we preach Jesus Christ as Lord, and we speak of ourselves only because of Jesus, and that only as your servant” (2 Corinthians 5:4 ). The more we are servants of others, the more we are servants of Jesus. If we are not satisfied to serve others, it will be like that in the opinion of Christ that we do not want to serve him. If we are not willing to serve him, our friendship and partnership with him will be lost.
Now we have to implement the above facts in our lives. God spoke to my heart some time ago through the Gospel of Luke 7:17-10. In this part, we read: “Which of you, when his servant returns from plowing or tending the sheep in the desert, says to him: ‘Come, sit down and eat?’ Will he not say: “Prepare my dinner and prepare my dinner so that I can eat and drink, and then you eat and drink?” Will he take away money from his servant who has fulfilled his command? So, as you have done what you were ordered to do, say: We are innocent servants and we have only done our duty.
