Christ about straw and wood!

Let’s suppose that one of our friends has something in his eye! Even if it is small, as Christ said, it still hurts him and he cannot do anything until it is out of his sight! As friends, we have a duty to remove this small stick from his eye and when we do this, of course, our friend will be very grateful to us. If he does the same for us, we will definitely be grateful. According to the mentioned facts, we understand that when Christ talks about straw and wood in the Gospel of Matthew 3:7-5, he does not mean not to correct the mistakes of others, but quite the opposite. It is obligatory for us to correct our friends, of course, Christ insists that we should avoid objections and unnecessary criticism. When this defect of ours is removed, Christ says: “Then you will see better to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” According to the teachings of the Bible, we should be so fond of our brother that we do not hesitate to make any efforts to remove the feather from his eye until his eyes are not clouded and he is not deprived of blessings. We are commanded to “admonish and teach one another.” (Colossians 16:3) and “Comfort one another” (1 Thessalonians 18:4), “Wash one another’s feet” (John 14:13) and we must “think about how we can encourage one another in love and Doing good deeds inspires the soul” (Hebrews 10:24). Because the love of Jesus has filled us, then we will be willing to help our brother in this way.

If we are ready to encourage and motivate each other according to God’s guidance, we will bless many people. A Swiss person named Nicholas, who was very humble and a member of the “Friends of God” association, entered the city of Strasbourg from the past mountain and entered the church of Dr. Tauler, who was a popular preacher of that city. Nicholas from Basel said to Dr. Towler: Mr. Towler, before you do your greatest work for God, this world, and this city, you must die, die for yourself and for your talents, die for your popularity and even for your good deeds. Die and when you fully understand the meaning of the cross, you will find a new power before God and man. This humble advice, given by this anonymous Christian, changed Dr. Towler’s life, and he learned well what it means to die, and God used him in a strange way to pave the way for Martin Luther and the Reformation. Open the church. In the previously mentioned verses, Jesus teaches us how we can be useful to others.
