“Good Shepherd” is a Christian term that refers to a Christian and pious person. This term usually refers to people who avoid sin in their lives and try to follow Christian teachings and morals. This term may refer to a person who, in the eyes of others, is an example of Christian justice and honesty, and who practices charity and benevolence in his life.
So Jesus said to them again: “Be sure that I am the door for the sheep, all those who came before me were thieves and robbers and the sheep did not listen to their voice.” I am, whoever enters through me will be saved and will go in and out and find fodder. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. I have come so that people can find life and have it completely.

But the mercenary who is not a shepherd and the sheep do not belong to him, when he sees the wolf coming, he leaves the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters the sheep. He runs away because he is a mercenary and does not care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd, I know my sheep and they know me. As the Father knows me, I also know the Father and I sacrifice my life for the sake of the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this flock, I must bring them too, they will hear my voice and become one flock and one shepherd.
