Love in the Mirror of the Bible In a series of writings, we intend to have a journey in the heart of the Bible with you, regarding love and its practical meaning; Of course, we do not claim to be able to fulfill all the rights of the material in this regard, but we will try to see the meanings of love in the shining mirror of the verses with reference to the verses of the Bible.
In the dictionary of Dehkhoda, we read that “love” means “to love”. In the literature of different countries, they have written a lot about love and affection; This is also the case in Persian literature. For example, we read in the Masnavi: “Thorns grow from love.” He introduced love into nature and considers it effective in the functioning of the world.
A friend said: “I remember one day my young son asked me the meaning of love.” His son had heard this sentence about himself many times from his grandmother; But what comes to my friend’s mind at that moment were its practical and practical meanings, before it shows the dictionary meaning of loving and affection. While his son was busy with other work after asking a question, he was trying to find a suitable answer for him. It was in these thoughts that suddenly the sound of her child’s screams was heard, in a moment she dived towards him and hugged him, who was crying profusely with his head on the corner of the table, caressing and comforting him.
In fact, it seems that even if a person does not know the dictionary meaning of love and affection, he enjoys when others show kindness towards him and feels pleasant in himself. Of course, this feeling is mutual. It means that when we love someone, a feeling of satisfaction is formed in us.

In this way, we will sometimes reflect on theological meanings. This reflection is like when our boat is in the deep places of the river, just as we have to sharpen our eyes to see the bottom of the river, we also have to do this to see the meaning of love in God’s essence (in a verse). Although it is possible that we cannot see the bottom of the water in some places; But the desire to find something in those depths always fascinates us. Definitely, not all places of this river will be so deep that we cannot see its bottom and enjoy the playful pleasure of bathing in its shallow places. On the contrary, in many places and next to the verses, we will let the practical meanings of love, like the cool flow of river water in a hot summer afternoon, to our mind, so that from the freshness and freshness of the verses, the meanings of love derived from them and Let us be filled with spiritual joy.
