Three denominations in Christianity
Trinitarian sects in Christianity is a term that refers to groups of Christians who believe in the monotheism of God, the monotheism of Christ, and the monotheism of the Holy Spirit. This term is used to distinguish this group from other groups that emphasize differences in the interpretation of monotheism and their importance in Christian teachings.
Monotheism of God: This group of Christians believe in monotheism of God and believe that God is one and there is no other God. They object to this belief by emphasizing the deviation from the Trinity (the threefold concept of God in Christianity).
Monotheism of Christ: This group of Christians believes that Jesus Christ is equal to God and is like God. They believe that Christ is God incarnate and he alone is not only God’s messenger but also God himself.
Monotheism of the Holy Spirit: The members of this group believe that the Holy Spirit is equal to God and is also part of God and of divine origin. They believe that the Holy Spirit was sent from God and has divine qualities.
Brief answer: Christianity has three sects: “Orthodox”, “Catholic” and “Protestant”. The Orthodox Church in Greece and Russia, and the Roman Catholic Church have more authority in Europe and America. These two churches agree in principle; But the separation of the Latin churches of the West and the Greek and Syriac churches of the East began when the Roman Popes wanted to dominate all the churches of the world and the bishops of the East refused.
The Protestant sect also came into being in protest of the popes’ methods of wealth accumulation and sale of “pardon letters” and creating disturbances and restrictions for the people.
Detailed answer: “Catholic” which is translated as “Jathelig” refers to a sect of Christians who consider the Pope as the leader of their religion. Once upon a time, the “bishops” of the whole world were equal, but little by little, the bishops of the big centers like Alexandria, Antioch, Constantinople, and Rome had a special power over the churches around them. nicknamed The Roman Church gained fame and prestige in the entire Christian world since “Paul” wrote his epistle there; The Roman popes were not satisfied with being the head of the biggest church in the world, they gradually wanted to dominate all the churches in the world and argued that because Jesus made “Peter” his successor and he was the first bishop of Rome, therefore the bishops of Rome should be successors. Peter” and reign over the churches on earth instead of Christ himself. In the fifth century, Leo claimed to be the head of all the churches of Christ, most of the bishops of the West accepted his claim; But in the east, the “patriarchs” of Constantinople and Antioch and the bishops of the churches of Iran refused to recognize his headship and papal position; This refusal caused a separation between the Latin speaking churches of the West and the Greek and Syriac speaking churches of the East. These two important branches of the Church of Christ are separated from each other even today; One is the Greek Orthodox Church, which is widespread in Greece and Russia, and the other is the Roman Catholic Church, which has more authority in Europe and America. These two churches agree with each other in principle, but the issue of the general power of the Pope has caused them to differ; Of course, they have differences of opinion on some secondary issues. But Protestantism, as it is derived from its meaning (objection), is the name of a sect that has many followers today; The reason for the emergence of this sect was the protest against the way of the Popes and the attention of the clergy of Christ to the accumulation of wealth and the sale of “forgiveness” and the creation of disturbances and restrictions for the people and the educated group. In fact, this sect is a “reformist” group to change Christianity from a series of changes that were imposed by bishops and popes. The leader of this sect is Martin Luther, the great reformer of the Christian world. On October 31, 1517, he stuck a paper on the church of “Wittenbruck” and expressed his anger towards the sale of “forgiveness” and many of the priests’ misdeeds and considered them irrational with some reasons. The Pope became aware of the incident and summoned him to Rome, but he refused to obey the Pope’s order and in response to this rebellion, Pope Leo X excommunicated him in 1520. “Luther” burned the letter of excommunication with full courage and bravery, and his courage and truthfulness were welcomed by the people of Europe, and he translated the Holy Book of the New Testament into German and spent the rest of his life writing and organizing subordinate churches. He spent Although the Protestant sect made reforms in the principles of Christianity and denied the sale of heaven and the forgiveness of sins, monasticism and similar issues, and did not recognize the headship of the Pope and threw away some of the buildings of the churches, but with the description of a special stagnation Christianity did not come out about “Trinity” and many other issues and they accepted it like others.
