If we wish to be constantly spiritually awake, we need to learn how to keep ourselves clean. God does not want spiritual awakening to be interrupted and limited to special occasions. The cause of the lack of spiritual awakening is only sin. The same small sins that the devil pours into our bowls. But if we return to the foot of Christ’s cross and remember again that the blood of Jesus has the power to cleanse us moment by moment and dry up sins from the fountain, then we will understand how to be constantly overflowing.
